Jackson Officers Warn Drivers to Pay Attention in Construction Zones

A number of recent accidents on I-94 in Jackson County have officers asking drivers to pay attention, especially in construction zones. They say too often paying attention while driving comes second to other things like eating, making phone calls, or listening to the radio.

MDOT started pavement repairs on I-94 July 15. Since then Michigan State Police have been alarmed by the number of accidents and are doing extra enforcement.
