I-69 is back open tuesday morning following a deadly crash monday afternoon that shut down the interstate for hours.
Eaton County Sheriff's Deputies say there were two separate accidents.
In the first a car veered off the road, and lanes were blocked off to allow the tow truck to clear the scene.
As traffic was backed up for that deputies say a semi-truck driver, who made no effort to slow down,, plowed right into stopped cars on 69.
One person was killed, at least four others were rushed to a local hospital.
Authorities are investigating as to why the driver did not stop.
