The Capital Area Humane Society is calling Friday a "positive day" in terms of the investigation into who abused a 2-year-old pitbull Wednesday and left her for dead.
They said they are working with the Ingham County Animal Control to pursue leads.
In the few days since a good samaritan found Tatiana in a wooded area in Lansing, they say they've gotten several tips that have turned into some very strong leads.
Medical staff say Tatiana's swelling in her head has gone down, and they are trying to keep her quiet and allow her to rest. It's good news, they say, that she's made it through another night.
