Her gymnastics talent is making her a household name, especially in Michigan. Now, DeWitt teen Jordyn Wieber's fame is about to make its way to America's breakfast table.
She is joining a eight Olympic hopefuls on "Team Kellogg's."
The Battle Creek cereal company was in town Tuesday shooting the campaign.
"I'm really excited about it," Wieber said. "I'm still trying to stay focused on my training, but at the same time you know I'm excited to be working with Kellogg's and other things too."
The crew of photographers spent the morning capturing Wieber's daily routine. The new ads will highlight Wieber's Olympic goals and what she eats for breakfast.
"We're shooting sort of a biographical video that's going to showcase Jordan, her start, all of the people who support her as she's starting her Olympic journey," Kelloggs spokesman Mike Morrissey explained.
Morrissey says "Team Kellogg's" athletes will cover a range of sports and deliver a healthy message.
"I believe it's really important to wake up and eat a good breakfast because, especially for me, I go to practice first thing in the morning, so just getting that good start to the day is really important," Wieber said.
Every Kellogg's athlete will get a profile, but Jordyn is the first. The company will spend two days with the World Champ, then begin sharing her inspirational Olympic journey.
"Her dedication and the hard work that she puts toward achieving her dreams really can inspire anyone to achieve their full potentional," Morrissey said.
Kellogg's says it's especially excited to work with Wieber because, like the company-- she's from Michigan.
