Gas Prices Up 5.4 Cents

DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) -- AAA Michigan says gasoline prices are up 5.4 cents per gallon over the past week to a statewide average of $3.18.
The auto club said Monday the statewide average is 57.9 cents per gallon higher than last year at this time.
Of the cities it surveys, AAA Michigan says the cheapest price for self-serve regular fuel is in the Saginaw/Bay City area, where it's $3.10 a gallon. The highest average can be found in the Marquette area at $3.27.
Dearborn-based AAA Michigan surveys 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily.

    Just in time for the power outages!! Ya think? With everyone, without power, using a generator to stay warm, we are using more gas. Hiked price a coincidence? I think not!! Who's becoming 'richer' off of the lower wage makers? The arrows point, up.....

    So all the accuasations regarding President Bush in the back pockets of the oil companies..and the outrage when gas prices went through the roof on his watch, Not one person is coming out and accusing barack of pandering to the oil companies .Hmm..what hypocrites. Where's the outrage at barack?? why is he allowing this to continue?? Huh??? Guess it goes to show ya that the President isnt responsible,and that President Bush wasnt either.
