Pay more for gas?I don't get why?it is going to cause many to go with out NEEDED things. As a country with not enough jobs{as they went over seas}This will hurt not help this country. It is like the only ones who have rights in this country are the RICH.Cheap gas prices [under 2.00 a gal} would allow spending to be done on other things. Many businesses selling things will not see much bought from them, could put them out of business? Many will not be able to eat healthy and it can cause illness.More medical expenses on insurance co.Rates go up,many will drop.Any thing going on the way government has chosen to do and believe may just bring the good USA to it's knees. No bombs needed. The oil people in the USA will become sooooooooo rich. Can't take it with them ,or buy God off.

This oil price thing?why it brings up gas prices? All I know is I have so much less for food.get behind on my bills, have to stay home more.can't do my charity work,I can't afford the gas.Yard sales will be out of the question, buy new things,no.What I don't spend will hurt many.It all has to go for gas.How does that work? With the high gas prices, people can't donate to charity because they must keep things longer? And with all the cuts to the poor.Prices of other things go up.People aren't giving stuff away & yet many won't even afford yard sales this coming season.I won't be painting my house, soon it will look so bad? Will my taxes go down. That won't help the city.I can't see what high oil prices will do but hurt this country, cause more poverty, cause hunger,And so on.Greed gone wild.It will destroy.

This is the quickest way to put us back in a recession mode. Spring and summer will be here soon and all that we've looked forward to may not happen. I live in a lake community and in 2008 it was devestated because of the high price of gas. Summer cottages never opened, boat and water toys weren't played with = no gas for them. The entire community suffered; restaurants, grocery stores, barber and beauty shops, main street mom and pop. We depend on our summer people to make up for the slow winters. The people in Washington just don't get it do they. They don't remember that THEY WORK FOR US and we EXPECT them to fight for us. Too many palms are greased from big oil and it certainly isn't ours. What will it take? Maybe riots in the streets, gas and grocery stores held up, more people needing help with everyday necessities = food (seenings how the powers that be thought that instead of planting corn to eat, we'd plant it for fuel) hmmmm, which is more important? 3rd world USA.....

Please be reminded that, during the campaign, Mr. Obama told us that we needed to be paying more for our gasoline. So it wasn't surprising that he stopped our drilling in the gulf (but other countries our still drilling there), and he refuses to expand drilling on U.S. soil. Mr. Obama is just fine with the Middle East dictating our economy and stability. Are you?
