Gas Prices Down After Holiday Weekend

DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) -- AAA Michigan says gasoline prices are down 7.2 cents per gallon over the past week to a statewide average of $2.83.
The auto club said Monday the statewide average is 24.8 cents per gallon higher than last year at this time.
Of the cities it surveys, AAA Michigan says the cheapest price for self-serve regular fuel is in the Traverse City area, where it's $2.75 a gallon. The highest average can be found in the Marquette area at $3.
Dearborn-based AAA Michigan surveys 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily.

    Surprise! Surprise! Don't understand it? Oil goes down and the price goes up. Did the government forget about price gogging! Or is now that a thing of the past? They must be focusing on the other counties and certainly not caring about their own. Oh thats right their trillion in debit. That somehow that will bite us all in buttocks once again. Maybe thats their way of preparing us.
