Funeral Set for Fetuses Found in Dumpster

A funeral will be held for the 17 aborted fetuses found in a dumpster last February outside a Delta Township clinic.

The fetuses were placed in a bag in a dumpster used by the Women's Choice abortion clinic.

Under state law, dumping the remains is legal.

Pro-life activists digging through the garbage found them and have asked Bishop Earl Boyea to hold a funeral.

The mass is set for Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Cathedral.

The burial will be at St. Joseph's cemetery.

Regarding McDaniel's comments; the little bodies have been in the hands of the prosecutor. That is why it took this long to have the funeral. It is simply too bad that McDaniel's mother didn't practice abortion. The world would be a better place.

Apart from the idea of this coming from an abortion clinic, the idea of medical waste and human fluids being tossed in a dumpster and being dumped with the rest of the trash. These dump trucks squeeze out any liquid waste at the site and the bodily fluid is spread out on the ground by that dumpster.

I think that MI needs to change it's laws in regards to this kind of material being disposed of. It should not go into a common dumpster where the public can and will go dumpster diving.

Its sad women are allowed to kill their babys but even more sad the babys are tossed away like garbage. I am saddened by the fact the prosecutor did not make an issue over what could be blood carrying disease made available for those responcible for hauling away and handling the blood products at disposal. On occasion trash does fall from trucks. We have a great prosecutor from a good family and I know his father would have seen this as an outrage. Guess its to political to risk an election over. pretty sad and dissapointing when justice is not served when the public health is at risk. Its all about Drs making cash without any risk or remorse for what they do.

So let me see here, since the fetuses are living creatures, right.... they took them out of a dumpster and did what with them for the last 8 months? If anything, using these fetuses as political talking points in jars is worse then them just being dumped in Lake Michigan, really. The guy digging in the dumpster needs major help, as does Rick Jones who condones this bull. I wish I could get a job working security, I would love to pepper wingers with rock salt.

Im find it appalling that there is no law that says these innocent babies, who the heartless mothers abort, are not still required to be creamated. Every woman has their choice, I don't have to agree... but this is cruel and at the very least has to be against health codes some how. If used needles are required to be disposed of properly so should the remains of the those babies!
