Experts Aim To Prevent Drownings

In light of recent tragedies and summer swim season getting underway, experts want to offer advice on water safety.

According to the National Drowning Prevention Alliance, drowning is the second leading cause of death in children under 14.

There are also common misconceptions about what drowning looks like, and knowing what to watch for could save your child's life. Swimming lessons are another important tool, and there are steps any child can learn that might help them in the water.
