LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- A 29-year-old former Ingham County Road Commission employee has been charged with embezzlement and using a computer to commit a crime.
Stephanie Barnhart of Eaton Rapids was arraigned Thursday on charges including embezzling more than $1,000 but less than $20,000, embezzling more than $20,000 but less than $50,000 and embezzling more than $200 but less than $1,000.
Ingham County prosecutor's officials say Barnhart also faces two charges of using a computer to commit a crime. All charges span between 2007 and 2010.
Ingham County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Lisa McCormick declined to provide further details about the case to the Lansing State Journal.
Ingham County officials said it was not immediately known if Barnhart had a lawyer.
A March 3 preliminary exam is scheduled.
