Volunteer health professionals from across the state will participate in a disaster drill on Wednesday afternoon.
The drill will deploy Michigan's mobile field hospital, a 140-bed treatment center that can be set up anywhere to treat patients.
Michigan's Transportable Emergency Surge Assistance Medical Unit will be tested at 1p.m. in Dimondale.
It is the first time the 100-bed facility and 40-bed facility will be utilized by emergency health professionals.
