Eaton County Investigtors Ask for Tips in Fatal Accident

Eaton County Sheriff's detectives are asking for tips about a fatal accident Wednesday afternoon on Interestate 96.

Four-year-old Natalie Ann-Marie McGill of Grand Ledge died from injuries suffered in the accident.

The accident happened in the westbound lane near the Saginaw Highway exits at approximately 1:30 p.m. The child was riding in a 1997 Red Ford Expedition. It rolled several times before coming to rest in the median.

A second vehicle involved was a 2009 Silver Chevrolet Trail Blazer.

An adult in the Expedition suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. The person's identity and current condition haven't been released.

Another person in the second car suffered non-life threatening injuries.
