EAST LANSING - If you live in East Lansing and get a phone call next week from someone saying they are doing a survey for the City of East Lansing, you may want to give them the benefit of the doubt. During the week of September 10th, a local firm will be calling a sampling of East Lansing voters by landline and cell phone for an opinion survey. The city manager's office says the 25-question survey will touch on city services, communication, neighborhood associations and more. The city manager says "this is not a sales or political call and individual responses will be kept confidential." He adds the survey will help East Lansing officials gauge the opinions of residents and assist in shaping future City initiatives and priorities.
