A hit and run accident in Jackson turns into a police chase with a "super drunk" driver.
Officers say, a 47-year-old man from Lansing rear-ended a Jackson woman early this morning.
The driver stopped briefly then sped off down Louis Glick highway.
Officers pulled the man over shortly thereafter where he blew a .23 making him super drunk under the state's new law.

I would love to know why when I was involved in a hit and run accident on Michigan Ave, the cops-when provided with the other cars license plate #- never did anything..they told us to pull over and wait in a parking lot...where we waited for 2 hours til they showed up and informed us it would be too late to do anything about the other driver..they would be unable to prove who was driving and if they were intoxicated since so much time had passed! What a wonderful world we live in!!

Stories about drunk drivers and stories about "super drunk" drivers. You guys are crazy, lol. The people sitting at home use freedom of speech and common sense and call them drunk drivers. Don't you have freedom of the press or are you just pandering to the law makers telling you what to write and how to write it?

This guy deserves to loose his driving privledges, and never be able to get it back. thankfully there were no injuries but he should be in jail and ordered to take defensive driving and alcohol abuse classes.
