Authorities say they have arrested three of four men suspected of being involved in the slaying of a 6-year-old Saginaw girl.
Police executed search warrants on Friday and nabbed the men, who are now lodged at the Saginaw County Jail awaiting arraignment. The fourth man remains at large.
Layla Jones was killed in the Wednesday night drive-by shooting and her father, Shawrone Jones, was injured. Police say he remains in serious condition. They recently moved from Saginaw to Wisconsin and were back in Saginaw to visit a relative and attend a birthday party.
Police say a vehicle matching a tip was in a traffic crash Thursday evening. That tip and others from the community led to the trio's arrest.
