THE LIVINGSTON COUNTY RED CROSS HAS RESPONDED TO NOW THRITY DISASTERS SINCE THIS JULY, AND THE TWO FIRES THIS PAST WEEKEND HAVE NEARLY DEPLETED THEIR DISASTER FUND.
DIANE SERRA, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR THE CHAPTER SAYS IT USUALLY TAKES ABOUT 1-THOUSAND DOLLARS TO SUPPORT A FOUR-PERSON FAMILY.
THE RED CROSS WILL CONTINUE TO RESPOND TO FUTURE SITUATIONS BUT IS LOOKING FOR HELP FROM THE COMMUNITY.

Donations can be made at the chapters address at 1372 w. Grand River Ave Howell, MI 48843 and online at www.liv-redcross.org.

There are other organizations besides the red cross that assist with these disasters. Most you do not hear about because they do not get the press like the red corss.
