THE LIVINGSTON COUNTY RED CROSS HAS RESPONDED TO NOW THRITY DISASTERS SINCE THIS JULY, AND THE TWO FIRES THIS PAST WEEKEND HAVE NEARLY DEPLETED THEIR DISASTER FUND.
DIANE SERRA, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR THE CHAPTER SAYS IT USUALLY TAKES ABOUT 1-THOUSAND DOLLARS TO SUPPORT A FOUR-PERSON FAMILY.
THE RED CROSS WILL CONTINUE TO RESPOND TO FUTURE SITUATIONS BUT IS LOOKING FOR HELP FROM THE COMMUNITY.
