PRAIRIEVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- Authorities say divers have recovered the body of a Grand Rapids-area man who fell from a boat in southwestern Michigan's Gull Lake.
MLive.com says that a couple launched their boat in Prairieville Township on Saturday morning with plans to go fishing.
Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Pali Matyas says both fell out of the boat while going across the lake. He says the woman swam to safety but the man went down in the water and wasn't seen again.
Sheriff's dive team coordinator Gary Townsend says the body was found about 4 p.m. Saturday. The man was from the Grand Rapids suburb of Wyoming, but his name wasn't immediately released.
