MSU Names Broad Museum Director

East Lansing - Michigan State University has selected a director for its new Broad Art Museum. MSU announced Friday that Michael Rush will be the founding director of the museum, which is under construction now.
Rush was most recently art director of the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University outside of Boston. Rush was also director of the Palm Beach Institute of Contemporary Art and is co-founder of the Contemporary Art Museum Directors Association. Rush also hosts an Internet radio program called "Rush Interactive," found on Art International Radio.
The Eli & Edythe Broad Art Museum is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2012. The primary focus of the museum will be contemporary art. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
