The man suspected of robbing a Lansing diner last weekend has been arraigned.
Mark Aimery of Lansing is charged with larceny from a building. Police say the 39-year-old grabbed money from the register at Jackie's Diner on Martin Luther King Blvd., shortly before noon on Saturday. A couple people who witnessed the robbery followed Aimery to some apartments on Dorchester Circle and called police.
Aimery was arrested at the scene. Police also arrested another man they suspect was involved in five area robberies since mid-November, based on evidence found in the apartment. That suspect is expected to be arraigned later Tuesday.
