DETROIT (AP) -- Detroit police say three men have been killed in an apparent murder-suicide just east of downtown.
Police say a 27-year-old Detroit man shot and killed a neighbor about 10:20 a.m. Sunday after arguing about noise, then apparently turned the gun on himself and another man in his apartment.
Sgt. Eren Stephens tells WDIV-TV, the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News the shooting happened at the Joliet Townhouses.
Stephens said the suspect had an argument with a man in his 50s outside the townhouse, then fatally shot him.
Police barricaded the man's apartment and about two hours later discovered him and another man in his 60s dead of gunshot wounds.
Police have not released the names of those involved. No further details were released.
An investigation is ongoing.
