Crews To Start Removal Of MSU Smokestack Today

Contractors will start removing the bricks from a historic landmark on the campus of Michigan State University.
They will start bringing down the first 100 feet of the MSC smokestack.
Crews will be working weekends through June, and expect to have the structure completely down by mid-August.
Work begins at 7 a.m. on Friday.
