Convenience Store Shooting in Lansing

Lansing and Eaton County police responded to a shooting around 11 a.m. Saturday. The shooting happened at the Quiky Convenience Store located at 4820 South Waverly Road Lansing.

The Eaton County Sheriff's Department tells us one male was shot. He is in serious condition but is expected to live. There were no witnesses to this shooting. Additionally, no one has come forward with any information.

Police don't believe this shooting is connected to the double shooting that happened around 2 p.m. in Lansing that sent two young men to the hospital. Both shootings are still being investigated.

    I pray that the violence here in Lansing cease!!!! This is awful!!!!! All these senseless shootings and killing needs to stop. Young (especially) black men are being killed and wounded for senseless matters and the worst part is most of them get away with it!!!!! The KKK would be very pleased with your progress YOUNG BLACK MEN!!!!!!!! Lansing Mi used to be a safe place, a place where people wanted to come and raise children and nurture their families!!!!! a place where violence was almost none!!! I lived here for years and never were their many murders here and now someone is getting shot or killed every week!!!! Lets STOP THE VIOLENCE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
