LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Faith leaders from across Michigan plan to gather in Lansing on Tuesday to raise awareness about gun violence.

Following the Michigan Prophetic Voices Clergy Breakfast in the morning, the faith leaders will march from the Lansing Center to the Capitol Building for a prayer service.

Members of Michigan Prophetic Voices have started anti-violence efforts in Detroit, Flint, Kalamazoo and other cities.

At the meeting Tuesday, they're to prioritize actions they'll take in 2013.

Last year, Michigan Prophetic Voices urged Gov. Rick Snyder to veto restrictive voter laws and stop the expansion of concealed weapons.

The headline should say that the group is against the right for someone to legally carry a gun! If you want to sell it Channel 10 don`t sugar coat what the real topic is about. Bias?

we as voters should have to prove that we are legal voters with Id cards/drivers licence. There is no reason that any legal Michigan residents not to have a licence or a legal ID card. They have to have one to cash their checks of any kind.
