A Jury has convicted Christopher Perrien of murdering a couple in Eaton County.

It took jurors four hours to come back with a guilty verdict on Monday.

Perrien killed retired state trooper Michael Greene and his wife Terri in September of 2011 after he had been granted a work release based on a fake document.

The jury convicted him on two counts of first degree murder and two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

He faces a mandatory life sentence when he's back in court May 9th.

I don't like the picture WILX is using of the perpetrator. It is older, balding, has large tats on his neck using Chinese characters and is now significantly overweight. If you use a more recent photo of the murderer then others might be able to identify him from other crimes he has committed.
