No one was injured in a series of accidents on snow covered Interstate 96 Wednesday morning.
It all started shortly after 5 a.m. when a vehicle pulling a trailer with snowmobiles went out of control and spilled the load into the left lane of the highway near Webberville.
An oncoming car swerved to avoid the wreckage and hit the guardrail.
A semi-truck driver traveling westbound saw a person standing in the road trying to wave traffic around the wrecks. When the driver braked and attempted to switch lanes, he was rear-ended by a second semi traveling behind him.
Westbound traffic on Interstate 96 was slowed for several hours until the wreckage was cleared. Again, no one was hurt.
