The Harlem Globetrotters will take to the court at the Breslin Center on Saturday, and they have some new tricks to show off! Fans are calling the shots this year, when they get to decide the rules of the game. Fans can vote online and during the show to decide whether the team will play with two balls or score extra points for certain baskets.
The Globetrotters will be playing with a pink ball for parts of the game on Saturday, in support of breast cancer awareness. The team is also selling pink wristbands, and the proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
The team visited Michigan last year for a game of hoops on the ice! The Globetrotters played at Millennium Park in Portage a few weeks ago. Detroit Red Wings coach Kevin Miller supported the event, where the team played with cleats and hockey helmets on. And now they're back in Michigan again!
