Bridge to Canada Reopens

The Blue Water Bridge that links Port Huron, Mich., and Sarnia, Ontario, has reopened to trucks and commercial traffic after a pre-winter snowstorm trapped hundreds of people on a highway on the Canadian side of the border.
Officials closed the bridge to commercial traffic while emergency crews cleared snowbound Highway 402, which was shut down Monday and Tuesday. The bridge reopened Wednesday.
The closing forced several General Motors Co. plants in Michigan to interrupt production and caused long delays at the Ambassador Bridge crossing between Detroit and Windsor, Ontario. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
