MSU coaches are starting to earn my respect. They 'hire' these players to be representatives of the school and they are not afraid to have a few more losses in a season in order to keep the good players. It takes time to build up a good reputation with good coaches, but that reputation can be destroyed by the must win now mentality.

I completely agree with M from East Lansing. This, in my opinion, should be the norm for ALL - regardless of level of play. Whether these players agree or not, they are role models for the young and upcoming and should act accordingly. Unfortunately, bad role models are a dime a dozen. A good one is priceless.

They need to terminate his free ride at MSU effective immediately. He had an obligation to MSU, broke it, and now he must pay the consequences. MSU doesn't need him to return to basketball next year as he has had too many second chances already. Give his scholarship to someone who would appreciate the opportunity to play for MSU.

It's about time MSU took action. Athletes are put on a pedestal at state. Whatever he did they couldn't cover for him this time.
