CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- A holiday bazaar turned bizarre when a deer crashed through an office window at the village of East Harbor senior living community's grounds.
The Detroit News reports that the young buck shattered glass and startled staff and hundreds of guests and residents attending the bazaar on Friday.
Marketing manager Carolyn Martin says an employee walking near the unoccupied office heard the crash, opened the door and saw the buck "thrashing about." The deer then hopped back out the window.
The buck had apparently wandered from nearby woods. Martin says police and staff searched for the buck to check on its condition and believe they spotted it before it ran away again.
