Armed Robbery in Okemos

OKEMOS - A gas station in Okemos is the latest location to be struck by an armed robber. At about 7:20 Monday evening a gunman robbed the Meijer gas station at the intersection of Grand River Ave. and Okemos Rd. Meridian Township police spokesperson says the man showed his handgun, demanded money and the clerk complied. The thief then left the store and headed south. Police used dogs to try to track the gunman, but could not find him. No one was hurt in the robbery.
The thief is described as a white male in his 20's, 5'6" - 5'10" in height, a thin build, wearing a sweatshirt and jeans.
