EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- An annual gathering this week at Michigan State University includes opportunities to discuss legal issues facing farmers and others involved in agriculture.
The 2012 Michigan Ag Expo runs Tuesday through Thursday on the school's East Lansing campus. Admission for the event is free. In addition to the legal sessions, the expo includes a broad array of activities from tractor rides to agricultural demonstrations.
The legal sessions are expected to cover issues including taxes, herbicide regulation, transportation, food labeling and dispute resolution.
Ag Expo is hosted by the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Michigan State University Extension and AgBioResearch.
