A Dearborn city worker is being treated for minor injuries after the city snow plow she was driving was clipped by an Amtrak passenger train.
Police say the small plow appears to have gotten stuck about noon Friday on the tracks a few miles south of Detroit.
The train's engineer saw the plow and slowed before striking the vehicle. The plow driver's condition was not immediately known.
Amtrak spokesman Marc Magliari (Mag-LEE-air-REE) says Train 353 was going westbound through Dearborn en route to Chicago when it collided with the plow. No passengers or crew were hurt.
Magliari says the train was being inspected Friday to see if it could continue its trip. The train is one of three that travel daily between the Detroit area and Chicago.
