9 Break-ins, Including 3 Churches, Jackson County

JACKSON CO. - Multiple break-ins are being reported in Jackson County, including three churches that were burglarized.
The break-ins were reported Monday, and three churches located along Jefferson Road in southern Jackson County. St. Rita's church and the Heart O' the Lakes church in Columbia Township, and the Skiff Lake Bible Church in Liberty township discovered Monday that they had been broken into some time overnight. Investigators suspect the same person or persons committed those thefts.
Anyone with information about the robbery of these churches is asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff's office Det. Sgt. Schlundt at 517-768-7931.

There were also four break-ins discovered Monday in Grass Lake. Investigators says the believe the same person or persons was looking for unlocked outbuildings and garages, and stealing tools.

Two other break-ins were reported in the western half of the county near Parma. The sheriff's office does not believe these burglaries are related.
