Government Shutdown Slows Mortgage Loans

The shutdown of the federal government is shutting down access to some home mortgage loans too.

Mortgage bankers say getting a home through the Rural Development Program -- which helps many first-time homebuyers -- is now impossible because the government agency that processes them is closed.
