MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich. (AP) -- At least 140 boats have finished the annual sailboat race from Port Huron to Mackinac Island.
The Bayview Yacht Club says 37 boats finished the Cove Island course and 103 finished the shorter Shore Course by 3:40 p.m. Monday.
More than 200 boats are participating in the Bell's Beer Bayview Mackinac Race.
The 86-foot Windquest was the first to finish the Cove Island course, crossing the finish line at 5:31 p.m. Sunday. Doug and Dick DeVos own Windquest.
The 32-foot BadFish was the first to finish the Shore Course, crossing the line at 2:08 a.m. Monday.
The race started Saturday just north of the Blue Water Bridge. Winners are determined based on a handicapping system.
