MSU football coach Mark Dantonio has been released from Sparrow Hospital, where he was treated for a blood clot. Sparrow discharged him at noon Monday. He was admitted last Thursday with a clot in his leg, less than two weeks after he was treated for a heart attack following Michigan State's win over Notre Dame. MSU hasn't said if Dantonio will coach the Spartans against Michigan Saturday. Stay with News 10 and wilx.com for updates on Dantonio's condition and the coaching situation.

Coach, Do not rush into coming back to coach. Your job and fans will be here when you do return.

This is too soon! I have suffered 2 heart attacks and I can tell you he is returning to work too soon after suffering this heart attack. Being able to coach a rivalry game this weekend shouldn't be worth risking your health or life.
