Drunk Driving Accident Causes Power Outage

A drunk driver took out the power on a street in Jackson when he hit a telephone pole.

According to Jackson Police, a 30-year-old man hit the pole, then took off on foot. It meant lights out for the 100-block of Gilbert Street.

Police caught up with the man and arrested him. Police told News 10 the man's blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.

No one was injured.

    And this DRUNK should be held accountable and made to pay for the work that needed to be done on this job to restore power..
