Exhibit Opens in Lansing on Women's Suffrage

LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- A history exhibit on women's suffrage is opening at the Michigan Women's Historical Center.

It's titled "Petticoat Patriots: How Michigan Women Won the Vote" and the exhibit explores the suffrage movement in Michigan and those who were key participants. It's scheduled to open Sunday at the historical center in Lansing.

The Michigan Women's Historical Center & Hall of Fame sought women's organizations, clubs and associations to sponsor the exhibit.
