Arrest Made in Double Homicide

Breaking News-- Police have arrested a man in connection with a double homicide in Lansing earlier this year.

Benjamin French was arraigned on two open murder charges for the deaths of Darren Brown and Owen Goodenow Saturday.

They were found dead in their home on Glasgow Street on March 25.

French is also being charged with armed robbery and home invasion.
He's being held without bond, a pre-exam conference is set for September 28.

The Ingham County Prosecutor's Office has also issued a warrant for a second person who is being arraigned in Illinois and extradited to Michigan.

News 10 will have more on this breaking news as it develops.

    To Suzanne: I offer my deepest sympathies for you and your family. I knew the suspect, and I went to school with him for a few years. Nobody would have ever suspected that Ben would do such a thing. I never met Owen but I knew Darren, and would like to give you my deepest sympathies once again. May this news bring closure to your families.

    Congratulations and Thank you to the Police for their intensive work on this horrible crime. I am glad to read that someone has been arrested. My cousin has been through a lot with the loss of her son.
