An East Lansing church will hold a public reading of the Quran this weekend, in response to a Florida church's plan to burn the Muslim holy book.

Members of All Saints Episcopal Church will gather in the sanctuary for the reading Saturday, September 11 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Everyone is invited to attend.

Thank you All Saints Church for modeling true Christianity, and true humanity by reading the Quran. God would want us to cultivate understanding of others, not hatred of others. We are all God's children, and we have to learn to live together on this earth.

Don't play into the media and govt hands. They want a clash of civilizations. That way they can come back and play referee and limit free speech.

hey, now a pakistani news paper is calling for BARACK to deliver MUSLIM PRAYER at the site of ground zero on 911. What else are they going to dictate? Their mission is to Divide and Conquer..and indeed they are doing just that. Americans are divided on the MOSQUE, some want it many dont. They arent here to make friends they want to eventually implement their laws here on our SOIL, and in the end, RUN the COUNTRY. They hate AMERICANS yet are moving here in flocks , which explains their long term goals.

What? Be respectful of people but Christians have to take a stand for what they believe. You don't have to read the Quran in your church to prove any points. I think its totally stupid. May God have mercy on you in that church when you read it.

It is just hard for the people who have been around for a while that know that america was founded on christianity. The foriengers that came into our country back in earlier day's would honor our countries belief's and want to be like an american. Not bring theirs in & try to change ours. Yes, we are a country of freedom of speech & religon, I just believe it has been taken advantage of. Again as i said before, this was a christian country at one time & even our presidents would have to be sworn in on the Holy bible & they would pray to the one and only (God) before making decisions. Prayer was in our public schools. People weren't trying to change our pledge of alegence by taking out "one nation under God." Our american money say's "In God we trust." Watch, one day a forienger will say something about that and have it removed. Just a few examples of how our country is changing and it definately is not for the better.

I hope that they read the parts where it states that they can kill the infidels, lie to them and to take over the world with Islam. They should also note that Islam is a government more than a religion.

How sad that they would prefer reading the quran over the Holy Scriptures. They are doing exactly what Muslims want them to do. Read the Scriptures. In them you find LIFE.
