Bernero Supports Proposed Tax Cuts

LANSING -- Democratic gubernatorial candidate Virg Bernero is asking his GOP rival to join him in urging Congress to back business tax breaks being proposed by President Barack Obama.
The Democratic president proposed the plan that would make it easier for small businesses to get loans at low interest rates some time ago. But the measure has stalled in the Senate.
Bernero wants Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Snyder to co-sign a letter with him asking Congress to make passing the plan its first order of business when it returns to session next week.
A call from The Associated Press requesting comment from the Snyder campaign was not immediately returned Tuesday.
The legislation has the backing of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and other business groups.

Did anyone see Obama's speech over the weekend? He touted that he has been doggedly working 24/7 on the economy? I guess that's whenever he's not playing golf, going on vacation or livin' large at the many White House parties. Oh, and his 'answer' to fixing the economy? Another stimulous spending package for road construction. Wow, because the last one worked so well??!!! Tax cuts? Democrats don't cut taxes! Ever! The Democrats have spent us so far into the future, that most of us won't live long enough to see an end the chaos brought upon this country by Obama and his followers. November can't get here soon enough.
