An 18-year-old Portand woman is in critical condition this morning after falling from a balcony in Fraternity Village at Western Michigan University.

Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers were clearing loud parties in the area, when they found the teen unresponsive behind the Sigma Pi fraternity house just before one a.m.

Officers say people at the party told them she fell off a second story balcony and struck the back of her head on the pavement.

She was rushed to an area hospital with a skull fracture.

No word on whether she was a student at WMU.
