When President Barack Obama addresses the nation on Iraq, the Oval Office setting will be sporting a new look.
There's a new rug made and donated by the Scott Group, which is based in Grand Rapids, Mich., new wallpaper, chairs and a new coffee table. The White House allowed photographers to get a glimpse Tuesday ahead of the scheduled 8 p.m. speech.
Presidents typically put their own touch on the Oval Office early in their terms. Obama's makeover took place while he was vacationing with his family on Martha's Vineyard, Mass.
