Police say what appears to be two legs and an arm have been found in a vacant field on Detroit's east side.
Police spokeswoman Sgt. Eren Stephens says officers located the parts after receiving a 911 call about 9 a.m. Monday.
Police were processing possible evidence Monday afternoon.
Stephens says police are awaiting final confirmation from the Wayne County medical examiner's office on whether the parts were from a human body.
The field where the parts were found is a few miles outside downtown.

Why does WILX report stuff from detroit and not from grand rapids, mount pleasant, hillsdale, coldwater or Kzoo?

Since this happened in Detroit, this doesn't surprise me. Many are murdered, and body parts are scattered everywhere. I know a woman who moved into an apertment and found a human skull in a closet. Detroit is a terrible place to live and I plan to stay away from there.
