A Michigan man is facing way more than just some car trouble.
Van Buren County sheriff's deputies trying to help the man with car problems Wednesday later arrested him on drug charges.
Deputies stopped to help the 26-year-old Paw Paw-area resident at 3:30 p.m. after they spotted him at the Brandywine Lake public access in Pine Grove Township.
Police say the man was "acting extremely nervous."
The Kalamazoo Gazette reports deputies later were given consent by the man to search his vehicle and discovered more than three grams of methamphetamine, a pipe and six boxes of pseudoephedrine.
Deputies arrested the man on charges of meth possession and possession of meth components.
