The woman charged with her husband's murder more than a year after it happened will face a jury.

A judge ruled there is enough evidence to send Melissa Sue Watkins of Laingsburg to trial.

Dean Watkins was found shot to death at their home in February 2012, following an argument between the two.

The case was reopened last month by Shiawassee County's new prosecutor, after finding Watkins had given conflicting statements after her initial arrest.
