LANSING - Two men are shot during a fight outside a Lansing club.
Police were called to the Blackened Moon concert hall in the 3200 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at about 11:30 PM Monday.
Witnesses said a large gathering had taken place in the parking lot outside.
They tell police a verbal argument became physical, and then several shots were fired.
The crowd scattered.
Witnesses described a car that may be involved.
Police soon located that car nearby, where they discovered a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his arm.
He was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
While at the hospital, police were informed that another person, a 23-year-old man, had been shot in the leg.
Both gunshot victims said they were at the Blackened Moon, but say they were not involved, and do not know why they were shot.
Police continue to investigate, interviewing more witnesses, and will take further statements from both victims.
