Sheriff's deputies in Calhoun County are investigating an accident that closed part of westbound I-94 in Marshall Township this morning.
A semi truck had turned on its side, trapping the driver inside.
Deputies and fire crews were able to free the man; he was not hurt.
He said another vehicle had nearly hit him, causing him to lose control.
The truck had been carrying a load of car and gas tanks, but they were all empty.
Deputies did have to shut down westbound I94 to one lane for approximately 6 hours to clean up the scene.
