Trial begins this week for the suspect in the I-96 shootings in 2012.

Raulie Casteel already pleaded "no contest but mentally ill" to shooting charges in Oakland County.

This time, he's facing terrorism charges for shootings in Ingham, Livingston, and Shiawassee counties.

The state attorney general's office will handle the case. Casteel will be in court Monday for a pre-trial conference with the trial scheduled to begin Tuesday.

The 44-year-old geologist from Wixom is allegedly involved in a series of shootings which happened on and off Interstate 96 during 2012.
