Two teens are arrested in Delta Township overnight, for allegedly breaking into cars on the 5100 block of S. Waverly.

On Monday, 5/13/13 at approximately 1:07 a.m. Lansing Police Officers responded to a call from a Quality Dairy market, in reference to subjects smashing car windows and taking items.

When they arrived, the officers made contact with two separate witnesses/victims. The officers discovered that two male subjects smashed windows of two cars and took items out of one vehicle.

Police say the 17-year-olds were spotted by police about two blocks away, carrying items that were taken from the vehicle. When the suspects saw the police officers, they dropped what they had taken, and ran. The officers chased the teens on foot, and caught one of them near the entrance of Kensington Meadows trailer park. The second suspect was caught a short time later, several blocks away.

All of the items taken by the suspects were recovered after their arrest.
